There is an episode, the one those following pics are from, that made me cringe for a few seconds, the few seconds pictured here in which Scarab and Chantra (another recurring villain) seem to flirt shortly while she reminds him he needs her for his scheme in reply to him dismissing her. For a few seconds I was like "DUDE NO THINK OF HEKA" (which I know is nor canon, yes I do, it is for HC territory). But it can have different interpretations : 1) it could be just physical attraction without intending to act on it, like Heka who ogled Apep 2) Chantra's routine is to seduce men she wants to use, so maybe he was aware and mocking her by seducing back (like when someone has a verbal tick and you reply with it) to show her it doesn't work with him since the very moment after he makes fun of her when he understands that just like him she fears to age which has her take it badly and never be flirty around him again and neither does he after 3) Chantra is VERY gorgeous and charismatic in-universe a supernatural way (literally magic involved, a love spell on Rath and shapeshifting for Presley) so maybe you really can't help yourself for some seconds even if you are already taken 4) maybe since all they were talking about was the plan and she taunting him he needs her and him taunting back he doesn't need her (he was disposing of her when she initiated the seduction ; note how it means he doesn't let her change his mind and retorts) just using the same looks as her to "speak her language" mockingly and 5) her tactic is to manipulate men and seduce them, being used to have them follow her like puppets, YET in the end he betrays her and it was planned all along a way even SHE had been naive about since used to be the one in control so it could be him having never been attracted because he is into snakes pretending to be so even just for a short moment mong enough to make her believe she has him in her grasp like all the others but he actually had pulled a UNO reverse card on her. After all in an episode in which Nefertina becomes alive again EVERYBODY finds her exceptionally beautiful and is attracted but him. Sure he was PISSED because she had "stolen" his youth lotion so he was blinded by rage, but I feel like the fact that he doesn't even stare once may mean things
