So, Finally I'm going to tell you about my au that I've been hatching for a month(???)
Channel 6 hh au or for tags #Channel6hh
In this au, Vincent never gets around to killing. He's still full of ambition, he still dreams of becoming something brighter, but he works very hard for it. He came to work here at the age of 24 as an intern and now he is about 27 years old, he works as a weather forecast presenter and works hard to be promoted to news anchor, because now he sometimes acts as a backup during the news broadcasts and the audience clearly likes him. He still does dirty tricks, lies, and sometimes snaps at others, but he still tries to keep his face in front of his colleagues.
Let's go through other Characters:
Bob J. Golding. The Network Owner, a strict man in his 70s, grumpy but always knows what the TV company needs. He is highly respected, and is perceived by many as an authority. His approval is worth its weight in gold, and getting on Channel 6 is generally an impossible dream for many, since Bob is wildly selective and picky. Everything in the Channel 6 building is under his personal control while he maintains the big business work. He is the father of two sons, Hank and Ginger (George) Golding.
Hank Golding, Channel 6 EP Showrunner, as well as Bob's eldest son. In the future, Hank will have to become the head of the network after his father's resignation, which he is preparing for. Very masculine, sometimes even comes to toxic masculinity (after all, it's 1950, baby). Despite his love of silly jokes and his outward lack of seriousness, he is extremely good at his job, most often he is busy with production and performing daily tasks as his father's assistant.
Ginger (George) Golding, Bob's youngest son and the star of TV channel 6. He hosts his own talk show, "Evening in the Golding Light", in which he talks to stars, discusses scandals and, in general, everything like in standard talk shows. The main feature is Ginger's flamboyance and theatrics, which makes it impossible for the viewer to look away from the screen. He is very eccentric, likes to act like a spoiled prince, but at the same time manipulates people with his charm. He often gossips or offends others, but he always does it in a veiled way in "nice compliments" and sarcasm, often uses "Darling" in speech. Julia's best friend.
Noah Kingsley is an EP Financier of TV Channel 6, serious and has long established himself as a professional. A respected veteran of the industry, who worked under Bob's wing for years. A close friend of Hank's, a couple of years older than him. By nature, he is calm, level-headed and reasonable. He is not a very chatty type but he is always polite and respectful, even to those who are younger or to interns. While Hank is working on the set or writing, Noah is busy with financial issues and capital. Together, Hank and Noah are the tandem on which the well-being of Channel 6 is built.
Frank Shpil is the head news anchor of Channel 6. While Ginger is the voice of the channel6, Frank is its face, despite Ginger being the colorful pretty face and Frank having a deep commanding voice. Frank is a prime-time anchor, the person who decides which news gets on the air and, of course, the one the whole of Maryland sees during breaking news. Despite his difficult job and serious status, Frank remains a kind fatherly figure for the entire channel, the one whom other presenters look up to. He is charismatic and knows how to control his emotions in order to elicit the right reaction from the viewer. He was the one who first saw Vincent's talent.
Molly Walker is a news anchor, not just a co-host during Frank's broadcasts. A bright and sweet girl who has been working with Frank for so long that for many she is the second authority. She knows how to keep the viewer's attention even outside of the prime slots. She started out the same way as Vincent, so she treats him with almost sisterly love. In general, she is the one who keeps harmony in the TV studio, easily regulating the temperature between employees with her natural charm and correct phrases.
Julia Lorenz - the cooking show "Bon Appentit!" host. She's the woman that makes educational content for women and men of Maryland, helping them learn not only the more advanced dishes but also easy recipes for daily life. Despite having that housewife-like on-screen persona, in reality she's a little rude and genuinely despises being forced into that role of a perfect wife. She knows how much she inspires women and it's exactly what keeps her going. Ambitious and loud, as well as pretty rebellious. Ginger's best friend and Rodger's daughter.
Roger Lorenz - Wildlife show host "The Wild Ones", he doesn't only narrate the documentaries but also makes content directly from the fields, telling the audience more about the animals and showing them their natural habitats. For that reason, he rarely stays at the studio, mostly traveling to get the footage. Julia's father. A sweet man that many people like, because he's great not only with the animals but with people too.
Jim Scott - The gameshow host of "What a Wheel!". A positive, funny man who actually loves his job. He always acts sweet, but sometimes can be a little silly or forgetful. Often wears some colorful clothing with fun patterns just to make people smile. The main problem of his is that he is that he gets extremely shy and nervous talking with people outside the camera, so the only real friends of his on channel 6 are Ethan and Pendleton.
Pendleton, an inventor when he's off the clock and a TV engineer at Channel 6. All heavy machinery, fixing and the signal clearness is on him. He likes his job, especially because while he operates the equipment he can observe other people. He's very awkward with other people and little cowardly, and yet he's a very loyal friend and slowly learns how to gain confidence.
Alastor, sound engineer/producer at Channel 6 during the day and radio star at the local radio station at night. He prefers to work on his own, has a great hearing that helps him at work and honestly he's not fond of the channel 6 and it's employees. Still, working at the TV station has its perks, especially for someone who wants power. He still does *things* he does in the official backstory, just not as often due to workload. Keeps his face despite finding most of the cast absolutely boring and annoying.
Ethan is a production assistant, the one who ensures that everything is going smoothly. He helps with everything he can, from scripts to clerical. He really likes his job, despite constantly working a hell lot. Looks up to Vox and usually tries to get on his good side by helping him and doing tasks for him. Despite being intimidated by his older colleagues, he's great at being at maintaining the crew members by himself.
Important notices: this au doesn't have canon pairings and doesn't revolve around one. The relationships between characters can change. I do have other characters in this au, for example Cherri, Vel and Val, etc. but i will talk more about them in the future because the main focus are the ones i wrote about here. I do not plan to make anything big with it, just small bits of content for fun. Some names for characters were inspired by the artists from https://youtube.com/@qiangumo?si=HQK-IQOrDnIKIs73
Thank you for reading! Stay tuned and remember - trust us with your entertainment!📺
Also content for my Channel6 au.
A TV engineer who doesn't know what a relationship is at all and an intern who is a bit rebellious🤲
