Christmas fucking SUCKED for Austin, though he'd had bits and pieces of happiness thrown around for the most part the holiday made him MISERABLE. Â He'd basically given up on fixing things with Joaquin, after trying to go and make things better he'd made them ultimately worse, and at that point he did what he did best - walked away. Â His asset had gotten the worst of his attitude, a pissed off Austin going back to his cabin where his asset was waiting for him, but even a few days later the master still felt ANGRY. Â He knew exactly WHY he couldn't have given Joaquin all that he wanted, because there were others that had captivated him, and to go from having NOBODY to now having MULTIPLE people - it was too much for his brain to comprehend. Â Maybe that's why, after days of staying locked in his cabin, the first place we went was to Chandler's doorstep. Â He knocked, more like BANGED the door with his fist, "CHANDLER!" Â Sure, he could have waited PATIENTLY, but right about now that word wasn't even registering for him. Â "GET OUT HERE, YOU AND I HAVE TO TALK," or yell, because apparently half the fucking island had to hear Austin speak - livid as his honesty was bound to betray him and spill shit it shouldn't, and instead of actually calculating his next words as he waited for her he instead just kept yelling her name, because that'd get the best result of course.
