I D E A S I am really excited to see how this new piece turns out. This is a little sample of the marks I am making on the final piece. I don’t always work by sampling and testing before, which maybe means I have become too complacent with my way of working, or more confident? Either way I am really looking forward to working on this new painting. I can see it developing into more work like this. It is sometimes difficult to know if it is the right direction and not everything works every time but this one I have a really good feeling about. What do you think of this idea? Personally I feel like it is a shift from my normal painting ideas but maybe from an outsider point of view it doesn’t look too dissimilar to normal?
