Interviewer: Cowboy boots or sneakers?
Chanel: Right now, definitely cowboy boots—it fits the era I’m in. But I’ll always love a good sneaker.
Interviewer: Desert heat: mild or feral?
Chanel: Feral. If we’re doing it, we’re going all in.
Interviewer: Tour bus naps or late-night chaos?
Chanel: Late-night chaos… I’ll sleep later.
Interviewer: One word for the Cowgirl Venturas era?
Chanel: Powerful.
Interviewer: Go-to pre-show hype song?
Chanel: “Antidote” by Missy Dada. She always gets me in the right mindset.
Interviewer: Sunglasses on stage: yes or no?
Chanel: Sometimes yes—depends on the look. It’s all about the moment.
Interviewer: Festival crowds or tour crowds?
Chanel: Both are such a vibe. Tour crowds feel more intimate, but festival crowds bring unmatched energy.
Interviewer: Most played artist on your Spotify right now?
Chanel: Definitely Dada. I’ve also been playing Andre King, 250, and a little Trigga.
Interviewer: Biggest must-have backstage item?
Chanel: Snacks. Always. You need that energy to keep going.
Interviewer: Sunrise set or sunset set?
Chanel: Sunset—there’s just something magical about that timing.
Interviewer: After-party or straight to bed?
Chanel: After-party… every time.
Interviewer: Cowboy boots or sneakers on stage—and why?
Chanel: Cowboy boots right now—it matches the era. But I’ve performed in heels for years, so I like switching it up.
Interviewer: What does a perfect festival crowd look like to you?
Chanel: A crowd that just wants to live in the moment and have fun. That’s all you need.
Interviewer: If someone is seeing you for the first time at Senora Sounds, what do you hope they feel walking away?
Chanel: Like they just watched a movie. I put a lot into the performance—dance, visuals, everything. I want people to feel free and fully in the moment.
Interviewer: Any new music, surprises, or moments fans should watch for?
Chanel: Definitely—there’s new music coming, and a few surprises in the set.
Interviewer: How is touring going right now?
Chanel: I love it. It’s honestly my favorite part of releasing music. This is my fourth tour now, and I’m enjoying every moment—especially seeing fans show up dressed up and looking amazing.
Interviewer: What goes into designing your stage for a tour?
Chanel: It’s a lot of work. All my tours have been stadium tours, which are very different—you’re basically building everything from scratch, even the roof. My team and I put a lot of effort into making it perfect for the fans.
Interviewer: What’s one thing people might not expect about you before a show?
Chanel: I’m really focused. Once it’s showtime, everything locks in.
Interviewer: Describe your performance style in three words.
Chanel: Cinematic. High-energy. Intentional.
Interviewer: And finally—finish this sentence: Senora Sounds is the place where…
Chanel: …all worries and stress go away. You feel the moment, you’re free, and you just enjoy the music.
