"oh, hey! sorry!" chandler had hovered there in the door dumbly for a moment, thinking immediately he must have entered the wrong room at the sight of june inside it. he even went to turn around but then hesitated, slipping inside it and shutting the door behind him. slowly, the realisation dawned on him and his head tilted. "you were waiting for me." he said, finally allowing his gaze to travel up and down the body she'd put on display for him, as unexpected as her presence was.

"It's not like... weird that I invited you over, is it?"

"today i realised i should actually be going through my missed call messages and i heard the strangest one from like, a year ago... from you."
