celebrating the wranglers’ first win: hot texas sun. smell of brisket in the air. kids in oversized jerseys and baseball hats. the whole city buzzing.

location: the bullpen

a large park that has frequently been known to be an event hotspot, as well as a family-friendly grilling area that's right between the ballpark (official sports arena/stadium) & the dugout (most famous sports bar in town). there will be large tents propped up throughout the location to give townspeople some shade from the unforgiving texas sun and there will also be a photobooth! there will also be a kids' zone with bounce houses, mini batting cages, mascot meet & greets for all the little ones to enjoy!

location: bullpen stage

main stage where performances happen, as well as speeches from the owner, coach & captain. a local band and volunteer musicians will be performing live music throughout the weekend.

location: vender row

this is not just limited to food and drink (though there will be a lot). local businesses will also be selling merch or be hosting raffles. dallas wranglers official merch will also be sold here!

location: media area

sideline broadcast's headquarters for the weekend. interviews will be happening throughout the entire weekend. fans and townspeople alike will also be interviewed about the event, about the players, etc. this is the spot if you want to see your favourite players because rookies and pros alike will be around to sign autographs!

location: vip patio

a closed off, shaded area for all dallas wranglers team members and staff, sponsors, wealthy season ticket holders, influencers, agents, politicians, invited guests, even scouts. security will be around to ensure there will be no disorderly conduct though they won't be able to stop the contract whispers, investor conversations, team gossip. there will be servers in this area to serve food and drink and there is a private cooling tent with ac and plush seating.

after hours event: after-dark glow party

still set in the bullpen, the band will be replaced with a dj, the gates of the dugout will bleed into the main park so drinks will flow freely, and the buzz from the day has turned into a more adult, slightly more reckless, but still celebratory vibe. lights have been dimmed, neon decorations have been whipped out, and the entire area has now become 21+. as people say, what happens at the bullpen, stays in the bullpen. (will happen ic on the saturday night)

important dates:

in character: march 7-8. after-dark glow party is march 7th, starting at 9 pm

out of character: starts march 3rd (tuesday) and will last for the next two weeks! we'll make a post when event starters can no longer be posted but you're free to continue your event threads for the rest of the month! additionally, you can also change your current threads so that they're taking place at the event.

important notes:

this is just the start for the monthly highlight. the dallas wranglers will be having their second game of their season next week, and then another game by the end of this month and a randomizer will declare if they win again or not! more information on this to follow.

you can start at any point in the event. we just ask for you to place the location in your thread or starter so everyone knows as well.
