Okay, so as well as getting photoshop, I also received an art tablet, which came with a few art programs itself! I’m reeeeeallly into Clip Studio Paint, I think it’s such a cool program especially with all its unique brushes, pens, and pencils! Good stuff, glad I got it.
Anyhow, older followers of my blog may recognize this girl, Chameleonite. The youngest member of Chameleon Diamond’s court, she was made to be a soldier, but emerged long after the great war was over, thus making her role useless. This drove her mad, causing her to purposefully cause conflicts within the court, just to pretend to be the hero and “save” whoever had fallen into her trap. She has been assigned as General Pachea’s assistant, but this hasn’t done much to help her mental state, instead reminding her more of what she could’ve been, had she been born centuries earlier.
Her armlets are actually dual arm cannons, and can fire laser beams at enemies. She does enjoy swordfighting too, but it’s not exactly her strong suit. Her hair and gem can change colors, not that it matters much. Think of it as a weaker version of Chameleon Diamond’s passive color-change ability.
@scrabdoodle Tsilasite, Cognac, Uvite, and Chameleonite (AKA Tsi, Petty, Bitch Noodle, and Cham) digitized :D
Chameleonite! She’s based on people with bipolar disorder. I also forgot to add her gem but I’m too lazy to put one on her. :/
Anyways yeah. I wanna show more representations of different groups of people in a better light than they’ve been shown. People with disorders and problems they can’t control are often antagonized or ignored, so I want to show my appreciation by drawing gems with similar problems, but in a way that shows that not every person you meet is going to be exactly like you, and not everyone has the same problems as you.
