SOOO don't laugh but I made myself sick when looking up angels on google (•_•) ... it was the mixture of confusion and rage from all the conflicting information LOL

Anyway I ended up just taking the general idea OF the angels I found via googling and just... did my own type of research to fill in some of the blanks and the rest I'm going to use creative liberty.

(I was very close to going ACTUALLY insane over this I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR DAYS and the research happened weeks prior (˘･_･˘) )

CURRENT HEADCANONS (subject to changing):

Jophiel (the youngest of the older angels) is an angel who ended up taking Lucifer's empty spot when he was banished to hell. They currently lead the Cherubium/Cherubs and any activities they are currently tasked to do. Sweet and unconfrontational, many boast about their beauty alone. They prefer to solve issues without violence or harm. (She/They)

Jophiel took on Lucifer’s old job of managing the Cherubs. Emily was created to replace Lucifer’s empty spot in Heaven.

Uriel (one of the older angels) is an angel who is very knowledgeable and often frequents the Heaven equivalent of a library. He's jovial and energetic, excited to spill any wisdom he has to anyone who asks. He tends to talk people to sleep or push them into a rage because he can't stop talking. However, despite his tendency to talk about EVERYTHING, he's good at keeping secrets- almost too good. He often knows more than what others are led to believe regarding God and his current plan for Heaven and Earth. (He/Him)

Chamuel(Camael) (one of the older angels) is an angel who has the ability to see past, present, future, and anything in-between at the request of God. Some call them "All-knowing" with how uncanny this ability is. They are described as calm and friendly and often go out of their way to nurture their relations with friends and acquaintances, but some whispers from fellow Angels warn of their short temper. Despite their peaceful exterior, they often accompany Michael for any meetings to plan battle for war or strategies to counter the effect of evil. (They/Them)

Zadkiel (one of the older angels) is an angel who is often summoned to judge major trials in Heaven and was (one of) the judges for Lucifer before he fell. They are described as diplomatic and kind, but others agree they can be a little snarky when they are being playful. When not overseeing trials, they are swamped with busy work signing off on legal papers finalizing judgements, approving the arrival of souls from Earth, or (most recently) approving redeemed souls into heaven. They are often viewed as the most open-minded of the older Angels alongside Jophiel. (She/They)

Raphael (one of the older angels) is an angel who is among the many "Angels of Death" under the command of Azrael. He is also tasked with protecting the Tree of Life after Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden. He's described as easy going and social among the other Angels and is also described as mischievous. He helps to send the souls of humans from earth to be judged to either go to Heaven or Hell. Despite the importance of his job(s), he's always found slacking off and spends most of his time bothering Zadkiel. (He/They)

And let me add the other two here while i'm at it:

Gabriel (one of the older angels) is a messenger for God and kind of acts like a News outlet in Heaven. He was the closest to Michael and Lucifer before Lucifer's fall to Hell. He's described as very gentle and reserved in person but when giving out his message to Heaven, he's charismatic and witty. He's also one of the other Angels still in close contact with God other than Michael. He doesn't spend time around the other Higher Angels unless necessary and is often called cold due to this. (He/They)

Michael (one of the older angels) is the commander of Heaven and the angel closest to God. He's distant from fellow Angels and innocent souls, described to be cold, serious, and dull. Many Angels are sure to acknowledge his high standing status and the respect he incurs is close to that of God himself. After the fall of Lucifer, he's distanced himself from his relations and drowns himself in work provided by God. (He/Him)

also if you haven't noticed i didn't draw their wings because i decided it would all just overlap over each and be unclear lol. i'll draw something later to show what their wings looks like
