We’re all here taking part in this challenge because somewhere down the line we fell in love. Maybe it was a character, a series, an episode or a creator; a movie, a book, a comic or a game; but whatever it was, we fell in love with it and not content with that, we sought out other people who shared that love. This is what fandom is all about, this is why we are here.

So, let’s share that love here today.

In your own space, write a love letter to Fandom in general, to a particular fandom, to a trope, a relationship, a character, creator, episode, or it could be your fandom friends. Share your love and squee as loud as you want to. Leave a comment in today’s post at The Fandom Snowflake Challenge on DW saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been expressing our love of fandom in so many wonderful and different ways. You may be wondering what you can say now that you haven’t said already? But this is fandom, and I don’t know about you, but I can always find something new to talk about. It can be about one fandom in particular or about fandom in general, or about the people you’ve met in your fandoms, a person or a community who’s inspired you. We’ve all had a hard year so share the love :)

And just as a reminder: this is a low pressure, fun challenge. If you aren't comfortable doing a particular challenge, then don't. We aren't keeping track of who does what.

One of my favourite things about this challenge is the pure variety of skills and ideas that this community of fans possesses. You all are you talented, and in so many different fandoms!

In your own space, create a fanwork. Leave a comment in today’s post at The Fandom Snowflake Challenge on DW saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Don't think I only mean "write some fic" with this, though please do write some fic if you like, but also consider art, icons, graphics, podfics, musical scores, meta, fibre arts, vids, recipes, or whatever other combination of the words "fan" and "work" that strike your fancy. Have fun with it!
