I was inspired by this collection from the mid 80′s... but really fell in love with this head piece. To me it looked like a representation of all of his potential emotions, and whatever he is feeling at the moment would be at the top... like a weird, super visual/obvious mood ring. 

Challenge 80: Fashion Inspiration: Valentino Spring 2016 Couture

For this past challenge, I’ve been really inspired by many fashion documentaries I’ve been watching lately. It’s incredible how much work goes into the industry and how large of a role the drawing and illustration play in the creation process. I was inspired by Valentino’s 2016 Spring Couture collection, and specifically this piece. I loved illustrating the delicate patterns and bringing this look to life! Hope you all enjoy—
