I can't stop thinking about Ruben's dad dying and Ruben visits his funereal and even though his dad was awful, there is still parts of him that misses him. And he goes to Niall(Niall doesn't know what Ruben's dad had done to him) and they try to have sex for the first time and Ruben forces Niall to proceed, even though Niall wants to stop because he sees that Ruben is in no normal state to do it, but Ruben believes that stopping would be considered a weakness from his side. And so they have to stop nevertheless, because Ruben starts to have panic attack and also vomits on Niall's bed. And then behaves like it's somehow Niall's fault.

in omegaverse AU in which Niall is an alpha and Ruben is an omega, what would be their scents? I think Ruben's would be metal, sunshine and summer day, maybe something with citrus notes, like lemons? Also something with sea notes? And Niall's-air after rain and thunder, washed bed sheets, ozone and something minty? Both scents are considered by other people and society quite atypical-Niall's is too much anxiety inducing(and that he is himself a very anxious person doesn't help at all), Ruben's is too aggressive, not gentle at all, and "not appropriate for a proper omega".
