“Hey, you! You ain’t busy, are you? My friend bailed on me. I’m taking you to the beach instead.”

She stood quietly as once again the boy lit up the world like a thousand suns while he spoke to them, those that he called ‘ friends. ‘ A concept she still had difficulty grasping as of yet. But at the mention of them leaving, her head perked upward.  “ Echo.... would like to go as well ! “ She declared. For she was not ready to part with that light. She wanted to gaze at it further, study it, learn more from the boy that had brought life to her world.

“Sorry! Things sure did get busy around here quick. I hope you’ve been okay while I was gone.”

This boy... He didn’t seem to be much older than the young demon herself. “Excuse me Sir...” Though she still had to be polite as if he was an adult, that was how she was taught. “You wouldn’t happen to know how to get to the next town, would you?”
