the hwang geum shopping centre was basically another place that raised jamie after she was adopted , she actually grew to like the attention she received after stepping into the extravagant ( definitely over the top ) mall where everyone knew her name. but she found herself warming up to the staff that worked there , dropping by, playing around and talking to them , almost ridding their impression of a spoilt privileged brat.
the oh daughter was walking around one of their clothing stores ---- looking for a new jacket ---- with the manager beside her , briefing about what was happening in the store. jamie wasn’t an expert in business management by any means , neither did she look to become one , but it was inevitable for her to learn and follow a few things after watching her adoptive parents do their thing to maintain their stature.
that’s when she spotted a familiar face through the aisles and smiled , excusing herself from the manager before going to greet the woman in front of her. “ chaeyoung-ah !! ” she approached the younger whom she’d initially met at eclipse , pouring enough drinks &. having enough conversations to say that felt like she knew her. “ --- it’s nice to see you here! you know , i kind of know the owner so i might be able to get you a really good discount. ” she chuckled.
