for some reason, my t/b preference in ships i like contrasts with the majority's own. by no means are my ships underrated, but the t/b certainly are 😭💔
i've also noticed a lot of people in the fandom do taller=top and shorter=bottom. i'm not too sure if that's the real reasoning behind it, but it is a pretty common trend that i noticed...
the main ships i always get reminded of whenever i think of this are romarriche and merold, as well as arupek and chaco 🥹🥹 way before i engaged in fandom activities, like in twt or ao3, i've always preferred 🎼🌹 and 🐶🐣. so when i entered frmmtwt for the first time—while i wasn't surprised to see the lack of 🎼🌹 fanworks (because yes, even I think they can work the other way around), 🐶🐣 was another matter. i was so surprised when i saw 🐣🐶 being the popular t/b preference instead lol. i initially thought most would think chaco's the one that tops that duck but I was proven wrong 🤷🏻♀️
i could go on and on but i fear this is getting longer than necessary. also, it's not my intention for this post to offend anyone or anything—people are free to like what they want! i just wanted to yap about this because i find it funny and silly 🥹🥹 (that and because i don't have close-enough friends to yap to about frmm mindlessly so i just do it in tumblr instead). have a lovely day!
