Zoro the alcoholic
Tiny bonus:
If anyone has ever looked at this color spread and thought it looked a little different than Oda's typical work, you would be correct. Per the color walk, this is one of the few times Oda used watercolor instead of marker, having been inspired after visiting a UNESCO heritage site
That is such a good expression for Crocodile. Love the ambiguity of not seeing his eyes

The setup for Luffy's Conqueror's Haki blast has some interesting setup. This is actually Crocodile, but the framing makes it look like Luffy did something through sheer force of will.
I also like the bit of Dutch angle on the second panel. Sells the disorientation of the moment quite well.
I appreciate that Luffy's plan for the admirals is to try and distract them before running past with a Gear 2 boost. It's very un-Luffylike in his tactics, which shows just how desperate to save his brother
It's too bad it's just not enough
Ahh, that hurts a little more knowing what we do now.
Also, Aokiji is more than capable of creating a proper ice sword, but it seems to prefer a jagged icicle that would probably hurt a hell of a lot worse.
