I know what YOU’RE thinking…
Unforeseeable Powers
While the battle with the two Magis continues to escalate, the battle between the two Prince Metal Vessels has tipped once again into one side’s favor. Although Alibaba’s Djinn, Amon, can handle Zagan no sweat ((given the Pokemon-element-101 knowledge here)), Hakuryuu decides to take things up a notch as he reveals his second Djinn equip that he’d managed to master in the short span of a few months.
((…Okay. As batshit-crazy as he’s become, you have GOT to admit his full Djinn equip looks totally AWESOME here.))
Even though it seems like Belial’s attack power doesn’t seem as strong as Amon’s, which gives Alibaba just a bit more optimism that he can still contend with Hakuryuu, a shocking demonstration of his old friend’s ability to adapt and multitask between his two Djinn is a reminder that both the quantity AND quality of one’s power is significant in a battle.
And given the fact that this is his first time witnessing Belial’s power being used in a match, fighting against Hakuryuu has given yet another layer of difficulty for Alibaba to defeat him.
((…THREE WORDS, PEOPLE…GET…ANOTHER….DJINN….))
I’m the Only One Who Can Stop You
Although it’s really commendable that Aladdin was able to pull off such a difficult feat when he was in the middle of a battle, unfortunately deflecting Judal’s attack just wasn’t enough of an impact to throw him off his balance.
In order to truly harness his Father’s power to the fullest, he needs a lot more time to explore The Flow in order to locate it. ((Which basically implies that the complicated formulas that Solomon tended to use back then are broken and scattered, since he is technically part of the Rukh. Yeesh, it’s practically a hunt for the Dragon Balls all over again.))
And as if that wasn’t already hard enough, Judal is well aware of the amount of time it takes to go through that process, and makes it so that Aladdin can’t take even a second to connect back to the Rukh with one merciless attack after another.
Thankfully Aladdin’s the type of person to not let this daunt him for very long as he resolutely expresses that, as the two halves of the Magi of this world, he believes that he is the only one who can stop him.
Although Judal probably considers this to be a joke that a little chibi has the gall to say such things when he doesn’t even have a good hand to deal with, the expression he gives in response clearly shows his amusement at such a rival who at least doesn’t kick the bucket when in the face of adversity.
((Hey, you gotta give props to these gutsy kids-chibi or otherwise.))
The Captain’s Stepping Back on the Court Oh yeah, Hyuuga’s coming back in the game.
Although I’m bummed Koganei doesn’t get to stay long enough to play more and show his potential to everyone, but thanks to him Hyuuga can reveal the weakness in Mibuchi’s Kokuu and face him on equal footing. Personally I would have liked it if both Hyuuga AND Koganei team up to beat him, but it’s likely that Koganei will have to switch out with Hyuuga for him to get back on the court. Either way it’ll be most interesting to see the third round of the Shooters.

A Window of an Opportunity Oh man, if looks could kill.
Although Koganei lost another opportunity to stop Mibuchi’s three-pointer again, Hyuuga and Riko are some of the few who notice that there was just the slightest window of an opportunity that could prove to tip things back into their favor again. And clearly from the way Mibuchi is glaring at little Koganei ((please don’t kill him (꒪‿꒪|||); )), he knows it too.
A Friend’s Advice
Pearls of wisdom from a man of few words.
You're the best, Mitobe.
Another Calming Presence
D’aww, it’s as though Kiyoshi passed the torch to Koganei~
Usually it’s been Kiyoshi who’d get the team to calm down when they start to tense up, but now it seems that Koganei is the one to set the mood for the other players.
Well whether it’s on or off the court, he does have a relaxed air about him that tends to be as infectious as Kiyoshi’s when things get tough.
Once again, Seirin is truly an amazing team. Love you guys. ^ . ~♡
