There was something familiar in his chest as Rouge spoke. He listened. Like he always did. Out of any other being , Rouge was one of the few he trusted with his secrets. With his life. So her opinions mattered to him.
While he didn't remember everything the time he had with the other was hard to deny. He cared very deeply for Rouge. ❝ You know , I have often had similar thoughts. But I have come to realize. Alarms were blaring. Loud and the lights associated with it as well were just as disorienting. The hedgehog was not able to see very well after that last hit from one of the robots they were fighting. He was barely able to get himself out of the way as he feels a firm hand to his back.
Pushing him with as much force as the hedgehog is sprawled to the ground. His mind becoming dizzy as he shakes his head.
Blurry vision begins to settle and see still behind him was her. ❝ Rouge ？❞ What had happened ？Carefully he scrambles to his his feet as he trips over smashed mechanical left overs of the robots. ❝ No nonono ... why would you do that ？！Why would you risk yourself like that for me ？❞ He questions sweeping the pieces away as he carefully sits upon his knees to help her. There is worry etched into the hedgehog's face as he at least gets her sitting again.

He wasn't going to pivot , not move. He had a mission to accomplish today and he wasn't going to get sidetracked by the other frantically waving his arms at him.

Shadow's bedroom ; Post movie canon -> (being raised by Stone)
The aftermath of the events of the Eclipse Canon , Shadow is found by Stone and given a home. They both suffered a great loss and what better way to heal from physical , mental and emotional wounds than together.
To make Shadow feel comfortable , the hedgehog helps plan a bedroom for himself to help him feel more like he belongs in this century. He hasn't ever had a bedroom before. For he simply just slept in Maria's when they were in the military base where he was held.
