Another entry for brush week!
Inspired by an antique Steiff okapi I’m sorta watching on eBay, and the multitude of cheap soft blobs we sell at my workplace. As an adult who collects animal objects, I like the look of the old rigid-limbed toys, but as a kid, I wouldn’t have known quite what to do with them. They seem a little bit fragile to play with considering they’re also very expensive!

It’s probably just because they’re the ones I grew up with as a kid but I really do like the clunky-footed 90s MLP toys. They’ve got a charm to them.
She scrubbed too hard in the shower and all her stripes fell off 😔 many such cases 😔 that’s where horses come from 🐎
I rly enjoyed drawing this one!!! I like drawing these kinds of pointy-wiggly shapes. But uh this version of PRISMA might gore somebody, so watch out for that. The irregular horn shape will really fuck a guy up going in AND coming out of a stab wound.

In my head I’m like ‘oh haha this is a nice quick little idea for the garden brush, just get some free-to-use flower pictures and crop them into the shape of the stripes’
It was INORDINATELY. TIME. CONSUMING!!!
My original plan was to draw flowers and leafs and stuff on the stripes, but I did not enjoy work today and I have a headache, so I went for (what I thought would be) a quicker option. Ah well!
You know what they say: you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t turn it into a lagoon-themed unicorn zebra! :)
