When Kin’emon and Brook are arguing over who gets to slay the dragon, it eventually degenerates into a back and forth of “no, me!” “no, me!” “me!” “me!”

Kin’emon’s style of speech is annoying to me sometimes, but his different ways of referring to/addressing the Strawhats are pretty fun.

He calls Usopp 大天狗殿/daitengu-dono. 殿/dono is a kind of old-fashioned honorific that, like san, is very similar to the English ‘Mr.’ And then a 大天狗/daitengu is a kind of yokai from Japanese mythology most well-known for their large noses. And, the word daitengu is also an expression that can  mean ‘braggart’ or ‘blowhard.’ 

He calls Brook 屍殿/shikabane-dono, with 屍/shikabane being a more antiquated word for ‘corpse,’ so it’s basically like Mr. Corpse. And he calls Robin an 花魁/oiran, which was historically a type of high-ranking courtesan in Japan, similar to geisha. Fittingly for her, the word contains the kanji 花, meaning ‘flower,’ and oiran were associated with flowers.
