At fisrt, I thought we’ve gotten a whole lot of nothing. Again. 22 pages full of nothing. But then it got me thinking that, yes, it was mainly nothing, but maybe there was some foreshadowing there? or maybe I just want to lie to myself so I wont feel like I waited a month for nothing. So the thing is... I came up with a few theories:

1. Kanae’s new role is related to Ren’s new job (I think he was about to start a new job, wasn’t he?). To be more specific, I think Kanae is to be Ren’s romantic interest.

2. Ren is to star as Kyoko’s romantic interest. Yashiro is very capable of pulling the strings to make this happen (In fact, he would be utterly delighted)

3. Huge scandal is coming. A picture of Ren kissing that woman is published in every single magazine and broadcasted in every tv show. Kyoko sees it. Maybe she gets jealous but doesn’t want it to show. Ren realizes it anyway and let his own jealousy about Kyoko and Sho’s kiss flow free. and he will try to disguise every word that comes off of his mouth as a consecuence as simple professional advice ‘cause he’s a bastard and he’s done so before
