Don’t miss out on Mela Hoyt-Heydon’s Vintage Ribbonwork Zoom Workshop THIS Saturday, April 6, 2024. 1pm-4pm PDT via Zoom Vintage Ribbon Work and Trimmings: Nineteenth century clothing abounded with glorious detailing created using fine fabric, ribbons, and trim. Learn to recreate several of these glorious trimmings in this hand-on workshop via Zoom. Serpentine gathering, pleating variations, figure 8 rosette and more will be included. Once you have made your samples with us, you will be ready to apply these techniques to historical costumes, especially the 1830s through 1890’s.
