Dating Kana is flawless. He can’t even begin to describe it. There’s no stress, no worry, no fighting himself on whether he could say something to hurt her feelings from his honesty. They mesh well, and he’s relaxed. Sure, there’s times where there’s a mild disagreement on something, but every couple has that. But Kana isn’t the type to hold onto it, his passionate side fits well with her rational sweetness, and he looks forward to seeing her again every time they part. Of course, when they aren’t talking on the phone or texting each other.

Kana has brought something warm and beautiful to his life, that nothing in the past seems relevant and he’s happy for the first time in awhile. He’ll have to thank Mikey for setting him up on their first date, because he can’t even begin to express how thankful he is that she came into his life.

It took him forever to pick out the right couple bracelets, and when they went on their date today, he’d given it to her. They’re relatively simple beaded bracelets, and he took her to see a movie. It’s a typical date, though for once he doesn’t feel like he’s required to be the well off heir to his mother’s company and a youtube personality. He’s not the popular guy in school due to his father’s past being an idol. With Kana, he’s just Jinwoo. Just a boy who goes to school and loves his momma, who has a talent for business.

He walks her home, of course. He’s not letting her walk alone in the dark and even if he was, his momma would kick his ass for it. When they get to her door, he isn’t expecting much, but he’s surprised when Kana kisses him so tenderly, that it takes his breath away.

“ — You’re so beautiful.” He breathes out, looking at her with the utmost tenderness in his eyes. He wants to kiss her again. “I know that…you just kissed me but can I kiss you too?”

being with jinwoo makes kana forget about everything else. as cheesy and cliche as it sounds, the ballerina cannot help but focus entirely on the adorably handsome young man who has managed to steal her heart so effortlessly. it’s hard to believe that their relationship blossomed out of a blind date that was offhandedly planned by a common friend and to think that she absolutely had no expectations about who her blind date was. 

in some ways, her lack of expectation has lead her to the best alternative ever - jinwoo. kana often prays for the perfect guy to come along and she eventually grew less hopeful with each heartbreak that came her way so who would’ve known that all of those experiences were only preparing her for jinwoo. she still can’t believe that someone like him wants to be with someone like her.

“And what of it? Do you also get on your mate or Dom ass about things they watch?” Having mood swings as a human was bad enough, mood swings from a lycan? That’s another story. Her cravings had gotten worse as well as the pain in her feet from standing for long times on end. Sure, she was only in her second trimester but that didn’t mean her lycan genes wouldn’t kick in at any moment. Growing a hybrid within ones own stomach was a pain. Sometime’s she even craved blood for gods sake. “I also watch Law & Order, that is about lawyers ya know. OR, How about I turn on Bull. Would that shut you up?” All she wanted was to relax in front of the television, watch some criminal minds while devouring chocolate mint chip dipped strawberries along with a glass of what looked to be wine but wasn’t.
