So. According to my younger brother, my mom cares for me more than she cares for him, which defies the typical Chinese mindset aka caring for the boy in the family. I thought she focuses on me more cuz I’m the girl and he’s the guy, that biologically I’ll be more vulnerable and attract danger more?

Thing is. Sometimes it’s just... Idk suffocating? It’s like she’s putting her entire focus, her entire wish on me. Just yesterday, she told me she’s coming down to the city I’m in (I’m working in a different state from home lmAO) to visit me. I asked why and her answer? “Since you’re not coming home, so I will go there to visit you instead.” She also asked to crash/squeeze in the room I’m staying but dude... My room is fucking small. Idek how she thinks it’s possible to squeeze in when I’m... Plus Sized. 

That aside, she also said that she’d wanna follow me when I go on business trips overseas, so that she can crash in the hotels I’m staying and she can visit the places herself. But I don’t like this. My relationship with her is strained and I don’t feel comfortable with her doing this. Heck, I don’t think I’ll let my close friends do this (they don’t even make such requests) or my s/o (they don’t exist at the moment but let’s put this aside) to try this. I just feel... Not Nice.

I noticed her North Node fucking conjuncts my Sun sign with an orb of max 0.5 degree, which is in the sign of Capricorn. Hers is at a Leo degree while my Sun is at a Cancer degree. But bruh. Is that why she really... Thinks that her main life focus is ME????
