Went to a drag show last night
Queen cracks a joke about someone in the audiences morning wood being like mahogany. An over enthusiastic man stops the drag queen from getting on stage to perform her next number to ask what mahogany even is. His girlfriend looked at him with such shame as the drag queen had to break down the joke.
later the drag queen asks this other dude if he was a top/bottom. The dude said "mixed" as a response. The level of anger from the guys I was sat with at the bar because he didn't say 'versatile' was intense. Later on in the night chatty Mr. Mixed then says he is straight.
The drag queen ripped the shit out of lesbians. A common crutch for drag Queens but this was intense. It caused a group to flat out leave. The queen made some uneasiness in the non binary audience too.
Bless the barmaid for being forever good spirited even when having a racist and homophobic drag queen insinuating that she like black cock just because she is black. She shook her head severely and was like nah mate I'm ima lesbian. Awkward.
All in all she boasted at having done drag for 25 years. There was no pride to be had. Nothing was on fleek. Humour was offensive and downright pointless. She expected " i like black cock" to be and punchline. There's Theresa difference between reading people and offending them which in her time in the industry you'd think she would know. Frankly it was and non an use of power and a strange form.on internalised bullying at a bar which is supposed to be a place for all within the lgbtqa community to be entertained and not judged. But no. Instead what happened was trans people feared going to gender specific toilets for fear of being seen as that lesbian that's taken a step too far.
Private Sewage Systems
What is a private sewage system and how should they be maintained?
It is any system of foul drainage that does not lead to a main sewer. This could be a septic tank, cess pit, treatment plant, pumping station, soakaways, etc.
Much like anything mechanical having a regular service is going to prolongĀ its life span. We recommend that treatment plants and pumping stations should be serviced at least once a year, maybe more depending on the size and amount of usage the system is getting.
Soakaways do not need maintenance, however, they do have a limited life span, if your soakaway is not performing as well as it should be then it may be time for a new one.
If you are unsure as to how often your septic tank orĀ cess pit should be emptied then my suggestion would be to have it emptiedĀ annually and if this appears to be too frequent or not frequent enough for theĀ amount of useĀ your system is getting then adjust accordingly. Some people may needĀ their tank emptiedĀ monthly whereas some may be able toĀ last once every two years or so.

Cess pit holds trove of clues about lives of wealthy families
A large, brick cistern with a domed top that held sewage from two of Santa Fe's wealthier households from a century ago was discovered last week during an excavation in a state parking lot.Ā Although parts of town north of the Santa Fe River had elaborate public sewage systems in the late 19th century, the cistern, described as a "cess pit," may be one of the first on the south side.Ā The cistern was built during the first decade of the 20th century to serve the Butler and Beacham homes in the South Capitol neighborhood and may have continued to be used for up to three decades after that part of town was connected to the city sewage system in about 1930. Eight feet in diameter and about 12 feet from its base to the top of its dome, it was built of clay bricks. The lower part is not mortared, and the bricks are arranged so there are spaces between them for water to leach into the earth. The dome's bricks are fastened together with a concrete mortar.
