Summery:

In which Jack, a young, magically gifted child accompanying his uncle on his errands, comes across a bright, lonely girl who asks to be his friend.

I’d said earlier that I’d get back with an update, so here’s the short of it:

I finished one of my major exams! Woohoo! That means I have more free time for my hobbies, at least for most of this month.

What I mean by that is that after this I’ll have to go looking into colleges where I can apply for my Masters soon, that way I can start college in September. That, and the exams I took were for engineering. I studied and wrote for those exams mainly because they’re high-ranking exams and my parents thought it would help me.

I told them that I’m done with engineering and want to switch to a science course and they took it well, they’re fine with it, but that means I’ll have to look into colleges that will offer me those options and most likely take more exams in the upcoming months that’ll allow me to study there. While that’s going on, my parents also suggested I could try doing tutoring in the meantime, both to help me pay for some of the funds for my higher studies (depending on how much the tuition will cost) or even start on saving up for when I move out.

And as I said earlier, I have a little more wiggle room at the moment to scratch my creative outlet itches - for me that means much of my time is going to go into writing, drawing, language learning, and reading books on my to-be-read list, along with spending more time with family. When I’m busy with doing that, I can’t promise that I’ll be able to interact for long periods of time with this blog. Frequently? Yes. Hours and hours all at once? Probably not.

That, and I have a lot of likes piled up that I’ll need to hack into sooner or later because I live in perpetual fear that this website is going to delete itself any day now and that if I don’t somehow clear out everything and download the contents of my blog onto a google drive or something and keep it safe then one day I’m going to wake up and all the things I’ve collected on here are going to be gone and I will be left with nothing and that is one of the minor banes of my existence. I’ll be writing and drawing and making content that’ll go on my wip focused side-blog (ohlooksheswriting-wips) but for this blog it will most likely be sporadic reblogging of whatever’s in my likes.
