I hate you too ~ hara + tempo
Usually whenever Seunghyun found himself stepping into other peoples' business, it never worked out well for him. Either the situation was much more complicated than he'd given it credit for, or he'd misinterpret what was going on and just fuck everything up. He had a bad habit of making things worse and then back-pedaling out as much as he could, as fast as he could, but he wasn't always successful.
One of the very few exceptions to that rule was a man he'd saved on the street, in the dead of night, when the world was supposed to be asleep. He'd saved the older man from some kind of fight, nothing too special but there was magic involved so Seunghyun hesitated only a little before helping the out-numbered guy out. They were attacking him, and even though Seunghyun didn't know why, he didn't ask- he only knew that he could take them, especially once he got angry enough to let his claws out and show his true persona.
That had been a few months ago now, and the man had always been so grateful that he'd invite Seunghyun over to his house every once and a while to eat dinner. Seunghyun wasn't one to take hospitality well, but free food always changed his mind, especially when he didn't have anything at home at the moment. So when he was invited back one night, when the moon was full and high, and his refrigerator was cold and empty, he accepted, like he usually always did.
Mr. Goo and his wife were always nice to him upon arrival, smiling almost genuinely and telling him that they hoped he would make himself at home. He smiled kindly at them, always a little bashful, nodding at their courteousness and making conversation about the last time he'd ate anything decent. Yesterday. Their daughter on the other hand, he didn't quite know how to react to. He nodded to her when he entered the room she was in, smiling tightly as he saw her, but he didn't really know much about her to make a good conversation. She knew about his abilities and he guessed she must have some too, but other than that, the only thing that was apparent was that neither of them liked each other.
