“Look what the cat dragged in. Should’ve known trouble would come waltzing back through my door.” How long had it been since he’d last seen Celine? He remembered the ‘where’ well enough, London. But the ‘when’? That’s where he always got a little blurry. “Here for a drink or to reminisce?” 

He frowned and tilted his head a little as he considered her words. “Do people usually wear suits and steal cars in the middle of the day on busy streets?” Michael asked. His assumption would be no but then again he hadn’t been on early for literally hundred of years so maybe that was a thing now?

Still, he stepped away from the car realising his proximity to it was making the mortal nervous. Odd. Their attachment to inanimate objects was fascinating. “I can see how it might look odd though. I was checking out the make and model.”

As Celine came outside and locked up her place, Nathan waved through the car window with a smile.
