Ooo sun cult in s3 would be interesting as it would drive a wedge between Alina/the crown as they want Alina as the Ravkan ruler. Nikolai probably wouldn’t respond well, esp if Tolya and Tamar join the Soldat Sol like they do in the books. My little political scheme loving heart is so happy at the thought of having to navigate that. If they’d just followed the books and had alina “die” in the battle in the fold, then they wouldn’t be dealing with the issue of a challenge to the Ravkan throne 🙄🙄🙄 but whatever I’m always down for political intrigue

they ADORE her. she’s a qilin’s kid and er well it was definitely a happy little accident because — hey! they’re fighting a war. not the best place to have a child. so often she gets babysat by cloud retainer who will eventually adopt her when… well…
setting that aside for now; the yaksha are like her fun uncles and aunts. often they’ll create constructs for her to play with or they’ll pull goofy silly faces for her. bosacius is the closest to her — same hair color!!! blue supremacy!!! while indarius tries to be away from her as much as possible because electro is NOT an element for babies, even immortal ones.
bonanus and menogias are really bad at taking care of children (they already aren’t doing so hot with teens) and do Not know how to make things appropriate, so they’ll be fighting battles and ganyu is strapped to their chest before bosacius and cloud retainer are like WHAT ARE YOU DOING. ARE YOU INSANE? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.
xiao ends up babysitting the rest of the time given he’s still recuperating from past trauma (physical and mental). he says he’s not good with children. he is absolutely 100% lying. baby ganyu could not pronounce the sh sound right so he relented and said she could call him “gege” he’s not fooling anyone 👎
ganyu doesn’t remember much of the other yakshas as an adult but she does remember them talking to her — sometimes about their hopes, sometimes about something funny that happened, sometimes about their crush. she doesn’t know if their voices really sound like that. she hopes they do. is it strange to miss someone you haven’t really met?
