“Listen here Miss THANG...” Ed huffs at Lucy, hand going to his hip and brows knitting deep. He’s certainly pulling the sass card today now isn’t he? But how dare she even imply that he couldn’t kick her ass at anything? “What the hell makes you think I couldn't whoop your ass at that huh? You’re the one that put my hair all up in flowers and shit already. You get the dress and it’s on. We’ll see who wins.”

Ed had been so busy talking with a few other members of the guild that he hadn’t even noticed that she had come up behind him. The next thing he knew, the others were stifling chuckles and giggles and there were petals hanging down in his face.

“WHAT THE FU....” he started, jumping to his feet, knocking the crown off his head. He hadn’t even seen the flowers tucked into the length of his braid. 

I personally love seeing your lyric posts - seeing people post things that remind them of, or are fitting to, their portrayal of a muse makes me smile. So I say keep doing them, and people can always blacklist the tag if they don’t want to see them. :D

      This moment almost felt like one of those awkward and ridiculous scenes of many bad movies he had watched with Bixlow, Evergreen and Laxus on their movie nights. The moment of silence lasted too long and the question his current partner voiced in an attempt to strike up conversation didn't exactly make it better. Why was it weird anyway? It's not like he'd never been shirtless at the guild's pool or on other occasions. Enough occasions.

      Right... perhaps it was because now, he was cled only in a towel and this was the first mission Lucy and him went on together. Just the two of them. "It was... refreshing." He was far from stupid and unattentive. In fact he was very observant and even if he wasn't, Lucy's reaction was difficult to miss. It had been one of Freed's goals to avoid making her feel uncomfortable for the entirety of their infiltration mission, and this was where he suddenly failed?

      Because she definitely wasn't feeling casual right now. The sudden change of color on her face, the way she was now refusing to look at him, the tone of her voice, the way she packed and unpacked her bag in an almost comical manner... And it wasn't appropriate, but part of him found pleasure in her reactions.

      Subtly clearing his throat Freed made an effort to push this very realization aside, own cheeks tinted with the faintest shade of red as he finally made his way towards his bed to fetch the garments he needed. "I will get dressed and dry my hair shortly. You can go the bathroom in a minute if you need to and after you... finished unpacking your bag." The clothes hung over his arm he turned back around to face her, and the latter part of his sentence was tinted with a small amount of amusement. Intially he hadn't wanted to say anything... but there it was.

      With the hint of a smile gracing his features Freed took the liberty of sitting down next to her. No hidden innuendo had been intended (at least none that had make it to the top of hid mind. yet.) - although he would get where she was coming from if she was to voice this wonder of hers. It wasn't the most common compliment to give either but that didn't change anything about the fact that it had been honest. She had nice fingers. She had nice hands. Perhaps it was a sword fighter habit to pay more attention to this than others...

     "I apologize, I didn't mean to startle you." Freed had noticed her flinching, almost ruining her work. Fortunately everything was safe still.
