No, but seriously.
I’m going to come out of hiatus to say this about Kristen_Wombat on the Virtual Petsites List forum.
I was a member of all three of her sites, Into the Vale, Valley of Unicorns and Celestial Vale. All three sites were basically copy-and-paste jobs with the coding and features. The only real differences were Into the Vale and Celestial Vale had extra features that Valley of Unicorns didn’t have. Into the Vale had the ability to explore and collect food items to feed your creatures with and other items to swap for even more items. Celestial Vale had the option to “train” your creatures and earn trophies.
Neither Into the Vale nor Celestial Vale had their own message boards. These two were included in the message board forums on Valley of Unicorns. Even then the forums for Celestial Vale were almost nonexistent and Into the Vale was barely supported. It was in the News and Announcements forum for Valley of Unicorns where Kristen_Wombat first announced that the other two sites would be closing down. No one on the other two sites would have known if they weren't also a member of Valley of Unicorns. Not until she posted on the front pages of these two sites.
The notice she gave for their closure on their front pages was brief and didn’t give much detail. Only that if you wanted to “save two of your creatures” you needed to submit their ID numbers for storage purposes so that they could be “imported into a brand new game” she was going to create. This brand new game never actually happened. Instead she decided to open up a different site altogether called FableDen where users can create their own creatures.
Nothing was ever brought up about Into the Vale or Celestial Vale again.
She has been called out on her shit before on Virtual Petsites List. She only creates her sites for how she wants them to be. This in and of itself isn’t bad but she also ignores user feedback. Going as far as to prevent users from actually customizing their own avatars for the message boards and completely ignoring those who question her motives. Only those who agree with her or allow her madness to continue actually seem to be deemed worthy of her attention.
