Like all Knights, she was selected to become a Knight after an “untimely death” - though there’s a LOT more to that. She became especially close to Elysia, who eventually assigned her biggest task yet which is to take down the ”living weapon” of her adversary Ambrose named the “Vessel of Rapture”

Sheltered and with no memory of her past life, Celeste is unprepared of the role and responsibilities she has to take in a world she’s unfamiliar with but meant to protect. Her idealistic sense of justice is sort of turned on its head throughout the story.

Despite being pretty agreeable to a point, she can also be quite stubborn and rigid in her values that she kind of alienates others with her strict moral code, this especially is prevalent with Rosella. It’s something so ingrained in her as a Knight and especially being taken care of by her goddess she doesn't have much of a concept of other perspectives.

She tends to suffer in silence with her own issues and wallow in her own self pity. Celeste will still always stands up for those she cares about. She has a lot of anxieties and self-imposed pressure. Not the best at explaining her feelings, she also tends to let things bottle up before they explode, and has to learn to unlearn all of this in order to be able to save her friends and herself
