This fabulous ceiling in a Madison, Wisconsin home was made from tin tiles collected from a deconstruction company and an antques flea market. (The poster said she regrets using some of the boring ones, but they’re not going to redo it.)

Here’s a home made from reclaimed material, and it has the most awesome ceiling made from picture frame pieces.

This year’s trend to try- Treating the ceiling as the 5th wall. In this NYC home, a clean-lined tin pattern was chosen to complement the mash-up of wallpapers.
