Things I love about Britta
Iâve just finished s5, but from what Iâve seen and heard about s6, Britta doesnât have it easy, and the whole episode with her parents genuinely makes me sick to my stomach I feel so bad for her, so I decided to write all the things I love about britta
Sheâs not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right, this is what she has always done throughout the show.
she is always looking out for her friends, and would do anything to help them.
is constantly bullied by her closest friends yet never says anything truly harmful to them.
helped Jeff see his father again and was so supportive , but when she had to see her parents again, she was blamed for overreacting and no one, not even Jeff, stood up for her.
in s5, geothermal escapism, she stays in the entire game even though she think itâs stupid, just to talk to abed, and succeeds in making him feel better, even if he wonât admit it.
when Abed in Troyâs body was trying to break up with her, she didnât strike it as weird and put it off, she actually listened to him.
she was constantly bullied by Annie in s6, and was offered no sympathy for being practically homeless, but was still kind to people throughout that season.
in season five she tries her best to reason with Jeff and make things better even under insane circumstances.
let Annie date Vaughn even though it hurt her feelings, only for Annie to run after Jeff, another one of Brittas lovers, and never apologizes to Britta, and Britta still remains kind.
paid for Abeds film class, and continued to support him even when she wasnât paying.
helped Jeff get back together with slater even though it was clear she had feelings for him.
handled being âthe new pierceâ better then pierce ever did.
risked her job for Abeds birthday.
continued to study psychology even though she was constantly told sheâd never make it and would be a terrible therapist.
remains friends with Jeff instead of pushing him away after they stop being romantic
supported Troy when they were at the inspector space time convention, and he needed to find abed, even though Britta and Troy where dating at the time.
picked Jeff up after he went crazy at the bar Mitza and had spend the entire day making sure he didnât hurt himself.
punched a guy who insulted Jeff.
stood up to Abeds dad.
supported Annie in her relationships.
even when being seen as less or immature continued to stand by the very people telling her that.
her literal name was being used in a negative light, what did she do? She worked hard and changed that, by throwing a successful dance.
Even though she knows she can be bad she stills try her very hardest
struggles with self worth, which is never looked at in the show.
Forgave her friends for siding with her parents, when in my mind she had ever right not to.
she tries so hard to be a good person she ends up occasionally making things worse, but wil try her hardest to make them better again.
she BROKE into Jeff old apartment to get a FAUCET because she hated seeing him so sad and not like himself.
britta fails a lot, but never judges those who also fail.
