I’ve seen people say that Jasper isn’t southern anymore, but I think about this cameo I found from Nolan North (CE&F Jasper’s VA). Nolan mentioned that he was going to do a southern accent but they told him that they were taking Jasper in a “new direction”. I don’t think Jasper isn’t southern anymore. Plus I don’t see a reason why CEC wouldn’t have him be southern. My theory is that Jasper used to live on a farm but later moved out and went to the city, thus becoming more of a city dog and slowly losing his accent. I think he probably has a shit ton of relatives kinda like Plankton from SpongeBob. I feel like they’d make an episode where Chuck and the band meet Jasper’s family (expecting them to be just like Jasper) and get surprised when they not only see how big his family is, but they’re also a bunch of hillbillies.
