Decided to do some more work while at home. Started work on a felt CD case, for a Xmas lucky dip. All that I have left to do is sew in the two pockets for the CDs as well as attach some velcro to insure the case stays closed. I decided to create a CD case out of felt because it is a very different material. Normally for cases it is made with plastic, or paper; I wanted to have some fun and experiment. As for the design for the case, I am still thinking of an idea. I am thinking about using POSCA paint pens for the design. Overall I am most likely going to do a music inspired artwork to encompass the CDs.
Hopefully the case works and turns out good.
A bit of nostalgia as you get ready to prep your turkey and your Thanksgiving playlists. These musicmovers brand cd cases were the best. They had the highest quality sleeves. Better than the case logic ones the rich kids bragged about having. I only ever saw them at Longs drugs, next to the photo albums and in front of the film processing. Even today they still hold up. Unlike the off brand cd case I tried to buy at savers. The sleeves dissentergrated on that one.
