The "First Dance" Chatzy will take place tonight around 7 o'clock eastern standard time. If you need to check what time that is for you please do so here. We'll be posting the link to the chatzy either by 6 or 6:30, and we ask that everyone please try to be in it by 7. We can't begin until all involved characters are there. If something's come up and you are unable to attend please do NOT leave us waiting. Please message us.

For the first round of the roleplay there will be a set posting order. This is to ensure that everything is done in order and properly. After the first round the original posting order will dissolve into pairings. Each Contestant will post followed by their escort's reply. This is to ensure that not each pairing has to wait on other pairings to write their replies.

For the first round we ask that you write your post in the following format:

Contestant - The contestant will write their character from the point of walking out of the holding room, hearing their name be announced, and descending the stairs to meet their escort at the bottom.

Escort - The escort will pick up where the contestant left off with their reply. He may start (from any reasonable point), but he must write the pairing walking to the Ballroom and waiting for the dance to begin.

Once all contestants/escorts are in the ballroom. The admins will post (through an npc announcer) that the dance shall now begin. 

Now you may rp out the dance. What you do with that is entirely up to you. However we do ask that you refrain from listing out the exact dance moves (unless you've seen the waltz that we've decided to have them perform and remember how it goes). This para shouldn't last too long. 

When the dance is about to commence, an announcement will be made and everyone will have to make their next replies resolve in the end of the waltz. Afterward everyone is welcome to stay in chatzy if they wish, and keep interactions going around throughout the Ball. This is not mandatory, just something for people to do if they still what to rp in that chatzy at the time. At this time also an announcement will be made on the dash and those who weren't a contestant or escort will then be allowed to also join the chatzy if they want. 

MISS CRYSTAL COVE

It's that time of year Crystal Covians. The snow has begun to blanket our cozy little town, and cheer is spreading from house to house. It's Holiday season, and in Crystal Cove that means many things, but to our young ladies it also means it's time for Miss Crystal Cove Pageant. It's always held the Saturday after school let's out as a way to kick of the festivities of the Holiday season. This year the pageant is being held on December 14th. It's being run solely by Mrs. Wilson, whereas in the past she co-ran the even with Mrs. Lockwood. This year a gracious offer from newcomer Perceval Darcy graced the Pageant, as he's giving up his home for the night to host the annual Miss Crystal Cove Ball. 

As everyone knows, or should know, all Pageant Contestants and their escorts will attend the Interview Brunch with the judges at one, on Saturday afternoon. They then may return home until 6 pm when they are required at the Darcy Mansion to do one last dance rehearsal and then convene upstairs to get ready for the Ball. At 6:30 guests should begin to arrive dressed in formal attire. At approximately seven, the ladies should line up the nearest room to the Grand Staircase. They will then be announced in alphabetical order. One by one after they're announced they will descend the staircase and join their escort at the bottom, and together they will walk to the center of the Ballroom. Once all ladies and escorts are in the Ballroom, they will proceed to perform the traditional Miss Crystal Cove Waltz. The dance combined with the interview will be how the judges score their results. 

At eight, the Judges will crown gather the crowd at the staircase once again, and there they will announce the winner. From that point on the Ball should convene into nothing more than the formal party that it always is. Cocktails, Appetizers, and Dancing will fill the night. But with a special mystery guest arriving in the middle of the evening, tensions will rise and someone will lose their temper greatly. One contestant will do the unthinkable and stab a friend in the back, quite literally. And someone else will finally learn the truth that's been hidden from her, her whole life. What should be a fun night of drinking and dancing will turn into a night of blood and tears for most who attend. 

OBJECTIVES

Today will kick off the special event. Each constant will receive their "interview" question. They will have around 24 hours (ooc) to answer the question. They must answer it, and tag it with misscrystalcove by Friday Afternoon.

Friday evening at approximately 7pm (United States EST for other timezones use this converter) the chatzy event for the "First Dance" will begin. We ask that all participants begin arriving at least by 6:30. We'd like to have EVERYONE involved in the chatzy by 7 or 7:30 at the latest. This is one event where we can't really skip people. Everyone has to be in the chatzy before we can start. If circumstances arise and you can't attend PLEASE inform us before hand so we can work around it. This chatzy event will continue until the end of the "first dance". It really shouldn't take too long, but if it has to it may continue into Saturday evening.

Saturday will be the first day that the full dash goes on "MCC Lockdown". Meaning that all gifchats/new paras MUST be done IC as if it were the night of MCC. Whether your characters at MCC or not. MCC Lockdown will continue until Sunday or Monday evening. The admins will issue an "all clear" post once the event is over. After the event ends the dash may return to real-time. We are hoping that most of you will be "attending" the Miss Crystal Cove Ball and join in on all the Event fun as much as you can.

Dash will proceed as if it is Late Morning/Early Afternoon on Saturday, December 14th. All contestants/escorts are required to attend the Chatzy Event for the First Dance. 

Saturday-Monday; December 14th-16th: [OOC]

MCC Lockdown. All new gif chats and paras must be written as if it were Saturday Evening, December 14th. [IC]

NOTE

Snowed-In & Mostly Human

A 6 pm the first big Snow Storm of winter begins in Crystal Cove. The snow will begin falling, and by 7pm it will have snowed in the majority of the town. A group of townsfolk, both human and supernatural will have found themselves stuck together in the Lockwood's The Grill. Tensions between many of the residents are high, and things will only get crazier when they discover that the comet in the sky tonight is not just something pretty to look at.

The Comet Irritus has not graced earth's orbit in over a thousand years. But tonight it will be visible for around 3-4 hours before leaving our orbit and continuing on its way. Irritus has special properties. When it's visible in the earth's sky it casts a psychic block on all supernaturals, effectively rendering them human until its no longer in our orbit. 

Objectives

At 5 pm (est) everyone will begin the IC "Snow Storm" event.

At this time also anyone involved in "The Grill" event MUST join this Chatzy. THERE IS A PASSWORD. It's a: crystalcove

The chatzy will be where the majority of the beginning of the event takes place.

After the climax of the plot occurs, the group will disperse and the rest of the plots will take place on the Main Dash in semi-paras (short paras with gifs).

Sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 (ooc Eastern Standard Time) the admins will put out a Notice stating that the Comet Irritus is now visible in the sky, and that all Supernaturals are now powerless. EVERYONE must recognize this until the event is over at 11:59 on Wednesday November 27th.
