BWUH I forgot that I drew a speedy little Heartless!Heart reference for the rp! It's the closest thing to a post-recovery ref we'll have for now (because he Will have a proper one) BUT I MIGHT AS WELL SHARE HIM.

So yeah! Post-recovery ref kinda sorta! Absolutely will make a more official reference eventually but for now this is how he looks like after the major events of Heartless going into all fics in the Recovery phase. (I'm missing one item here... I thought it got destroyed during the rp so I didn't bother drawing it, but turns out it was being kept safe and repaired so now I need to design THAT TOO)

And yes! In Recovery Heart is given one of the few remaining feathers found to wear too! It helps him remember he had wings once. The crutches were made by Perseverance and can fold up to be hung at the sides when Heart doesn't have a muscle weakness episode, since it isn't consistent. The missing item is a wing-shaped shawl blanket thing that Penitence IS making during Heartless events, and is weighted to feel like wings. It is one of Heart's larger comfort items.

Unfortunately though, his wings never came back, and the blackness never left his limbs.

SO MUCH KEEPS HAPPENING. And I have two ENTIRELY different trains of thought and information to keep track of.

And Host isn't making it easy on me. I have literally NEVER gotten a clear read on what this bastard is thinking until the words are typed and sent out. UNTIL TODAY. Mind (@hhoneycloves) said something that FIRMLY knocked me out of the Host Thoughts it is INSANE.

And earlier I had the clearest fucking read on his new priorities and conclusions and they are honestly PRETTY SCARY (I only say that because it centers on Heart and guess who's also Heart lmao).

Can confirm though, finally successfully committed Heartless on the mutuals. Reject the Emotional Side lezzgo /j (please dont do that again my son they all care about you qwq)

We're putting 4/5 guys who don't know each other in a dangerous world and putting them into Sitautions they have never handled before. Or maybe they have because it is their world and they're the only ones who know what's going on in a group of confused people.

Harmonia and CJ are of this world and are technically the gods here, but neither of them are good at group dynamics.

Host is. Violence is always an answer he's fineeeeeeeee. Yknow up until he snapped.

Heart and Mind have banded together and are relying on each other, but its a fragile thing from one side. They're trusting and relying on a poor mimicry of someone they do know to have their back in dangerous situations even though neither of them are particularly skilled.

And whatever dynamics and relationships you knew about each other? Forget it. All of them have entirely different lived experiences. Mind is mid au. Heart is post au. Harmonia/CJ could be argued to be pre au. Host doesn't have an au ending. And all of their aus run entirely different paths.

And currently we can see how they handle new things that come their way, and sometimes the answer is poorly! Heck we wanted a fluffy shopping trip, but we forgot that Heart and Mind have never been in a crowd before and they both got overwhelmed instead. (We shoved Host in a rubber room he can suck it)
