Bulla might have caught him hiding in the bushes, trying to 'investigate' Bulla's boyfriend, or friend who was a boy; it was all the same to him. Vegeta, as her father, was thinking ahead about his royal bloodline too, so they at least had to be strong by human standards.

"You're so embarrassing~" Bulla shook her head disapprovingly. To be fair to him though, she felt that way about most of her family when it came to introducing any friends to them.
"There's more to life than fighting." Of course, Bulla couldn't picture herself with someone weak, but she wasn't about to talk about her ideal partner with her father. After all, they would have to be strong enough to carry everything for her after one of her shopping sprees.
