âOh, a guild exchange program with Sabertooth? Thatâs awesome! I canât wait to meet Sting again, maybe we can go a round too!â Natsu grinned at the news, soon hearing footsteps behind him then turned to catch a stern look.
âYouâre not going Natsu, I am. This is an official job from the Magic Council for us to improve relations with other guilds, youâre not jeopardising that.â Kaito told him firmly, Natsu was the last person who should be going on a job like this.
âKaito, thatâs not fair! I should get to go âcause I beat him up before! Itâs my right!â Natsu protested, his right fist now on fire, in case he had to fight to prove his point. He didnât get a response. âHey, stop ignoring me!â He growled, then his jaw dropped at Kaito turning into ice before him.
âNatsu, Kaito already left with Shiro with the map to the guild.â Happy told him, shoving a expensive looking fish in his mouth. He was bribed not to tell him until it was too late.
âArgh! He tricked me! That cold bastard, Iâll get him back for this!â Natsu yelled as he flailed and stomped about in frustration.
Above the clouds, Kaito flew towards the headquarters of Sabertooth, carried by his white skinned Exceed partner Shiro. âKaito, are you sure you donât want me to stay with you?â He asked him for the third time.
âShiro, like I told you before, youâre in the same boat as Natsu on this one. I can do this alone. Donât make me send you to Master Bobâs again, I wonât hesitate.â Kaito replied cooly. There was no way he was letting him ruin things today, there was no time for games either. Soon he was dropped in front of the entrance, and then he promptly knocked on the front door, loud but politely.
âGet going Shiro, before someone comes out to greet me.â Kaito told his Exceed partner before he flew off and away. The Ice Dragon Slayerâs attire was his usual black leather theme, a high collared sleeveless shirt, pants, boots, save a silver belt and white cloak over. Â He pushed his blacked framed glasses back a little, light blue hues looking sharper before he moved a hand through his silver hair, making sure it was too messy. This was his first meeting after all, he wanted to impress.
