and the non-comedians who were there are getting all this coverage like “MARTHA STEWART KILLED IT!!!!” as if they weren’t just reading someone else’s material off a teleprompter

did you guys know.... that like.... writers exist.... there was an entire writing staff hired to write jokes for the non-comedians.....

the joke about abortion directed towards pattie was not okay either — that was way too far. a joke about anne frank “übering herself to auschwitch” after hearing justins music wasn’t funny to me either; maybe it was supposed to be funny because it was making fun of justin’s music but using an analogy of someone willing driving themselves to one of the worse concentration camps in of history was too extreme. they also made a joke about selena and mexicans and something about how that because selena had sex with justin it “proves that mexicans will do the disgusting jobs Americans won’t”… like whatever make fun of justin and roast him but don’t make nasty comparison and gross generalization and stereotypical jokes for the sake of a few laughs. things like that were way out of line and whoever made and found those jokes “funny” were out of place too.

i think the abortion joke was out of line and i haven't heard all of them/don't know if they're all true but gay jokes aren't funny to me at all and I thought that was established and buried a long time ago i wouldn't count those as acceptable or defend anyone who thinks that they are... and if selena was slut shamed im not okay with that either but everything else is fine with me so far and justin seems to be having a good time :)
