So this happened. I went to load up my game today and got an error to check for corrupt data, which it found. I’m redownloading the game now but looking online for others who’ve had this happen, it seems I will more than likely lose my entire island and have to start over.
I’m pretty upset right now. I didn’t do anything strange or different while playing last night, so I don’t know what could have possibly caused this. But I did have almost my entire island landscaped, three home upgrades paid off, 10 villagers, an entire garden of hybrid color flowers, all of March’s bugs and fish in my critterpedía and museum, and had saved almost 200k bells. I honestly don’t know if I have it in my to start over again.
