Eminence: “I know I don’t call you dad and stuff but like ... you know you’re my dad, right? Not Heath. I mean he’s my father and I’m really glad that I got the chance to get to know him but I don’t want him to replace you.” 

Oleander: “Oh Emi...” 

Eminence: “Only if it’s cool with you, of course. You don’t have to be my dad if you don’t want to.” 

Eminence: “Wait, stop-” 

Flame: “Sorry, does my breath smell? I actually had a mint-” 

Eminence: “No, it’s not. You’re perfect, I just- I can’t do this.” 

Heath: [yelling] “You didn’t get to make that decision! It was my life and I had every right to learn about my daughters, no matter how much you thought it would ruin my life! Did you ever stop to think that maybe things would have worked out? You robbed me of sixteen years with my daughters. Even worse - you robbed them of sixteen years with their father!” 

Gardenia: “I was scared, Heath!” 

Heath: “I- wow. Seriously? You had sixteen years to tell me and yet you never did. How would you feel if I took them away from you, hm? Because with the way you handled this situation, I would have pretty good chances at getting full custody of them.” 

Gardenia: “You’re- you’re not actually planning to do that, are you? You can’t do that! They’re my babies, Heath.” 

Clemence: “Let me know if you need anything else.” 

June: “We will, thank you!” 

Clemence: “I’m suspecting you don’t have any change of clothes with you?” 

June: “...No.” 

Clemence: “I will get you some of mine, then. And maybe I’ll find some of Heath’s that could fit your friend.” 

June: “You’re so much cooler than my mama. I wish you were my mother.” 

Gardenia: “Promise you’ll call at least once a week? It doesn’t have to be long, I just want to hear your voice and make sure you’re alright, okay?” 

June: “Yes, mama.” 

Gardenia: “I’m sorry I kept him from you. I know things have been a bit tense the last couple of months but I love you.” 

Flame: “Oh-” 

Eminence: “June. She’s had a crush on you for forever...” 

Flame: “Emi... I don’t like June that way.” 

Eminence: “Even if you don’t, she’s my sister, Flame. I can’t do that to her!” 

Flame: “Are you sure?” 

Eminence: “Yes. No? I don’t know. But I can’t do this right now, I’m so sorry.”
