Hey Peter, I was wondering what your thoughts were on written prayer, and having that repeated multiple times throughout the week or every day. I find it helpful to maintain that I actually pray with intention for certain person. But does it lose its quality when it is repeated so many times? Or is it the intention that still reaches The Lord?
Honest, sincere prayer is what God wants. If you need to carry something around as a reminder, I'd go for it. It's not the prayer itself that has the power anyways, it's God. If you've found that a tool like that helps you be more faithful, use it!
Of course you don't want it to be vain repetition or mindless prayer, but that's not what I'm hearing you talk about. Be humble. Be faithful. God will come through.
