Ok, my dad is apparently taking some new medicaments for his depression and he's been acting weird and he just insulted my mom for lots of things and is moving like as if he was half asleep and drunk.
I always end up watching telenovelas with my family because they put them on eating hours and there is this telenovela that is pissing me off a lot.
Like, there is this woman who has every right to be pissed off because this family treated her like complete ass just because she was of modest origins and not schooled, etc. and they even killed her grandpa and now she suddenly finds out she's rich and receives education and shit and of course she's pissed off and tries to take vengeance on this family. I mean vengeance is not ok but this woman is of course pissed of because of this general assholery.
But they paint it badly. Like, this telenovela PUNISHES this woman for daring to be strong and mad. And worst of all they pair her with Asshole McFuckwad who is this classist dumbass motherfucker who keeps treating her as if she was some "savage" and even calls her that even if it's obvious this woman is none of that and proved this by tricking his family to sell her their ranch and she manages some casinos, etc. This guy toyed around with her when she was uneducated and left her pregnant and treated her like shit and they are painting him as the GOOD GUY.
"B-but I love him even if he treats me like shit and calls me a savage. l need him even if I have more money, brains, and guts than him. This is true love."
