The long-overdue "look what I did!" post of FF6 fanart that I did for the 30th anniversary calendar project. You might recognize the source material:
-Cayenne/Gau is based on Alphonse Mucha's SOCIÉTÉ POPULAIRE DES BEAUX - ARTS. 1897
My friend Scotty assisted with the French to make it more .... relevant to FF6. I imagine that Cayenne would teach Gau how to have good manners post-game.
-The park is probably the most recognizable piece, based on Georges Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte /Un dimanche après-midi à l'Île de la Grande Jatte. 1884-1886. There may or may not be some friends in this picture, maybe even a chick you recognize?
-Relm's self portrait is my favorite, based on Triple Self-Portrait by Norman Rockwell. 1960.
I learned a ton about using references and techniques in CSP, although I still don't really know what I'm doing.
