There are some interesting sculptures around Singapore, but this has always been my favourite from way back, even before sculptures became a bit of a thing in the city state. This one is of a cat and her kittens. You can see them if you look over the railings of Cavenagh Bridge (nearest MRT: Raffles). I first noticed the family when I was a junior college student in Singapore. Back then, Fullerton Hotel was the general post office and the Asian Civilisations Musuem was called the Empress Place building and housed the immigration department- that's where I got my student visa done, in a large room filled with wooden trestle tables and ceiling fans - that's right, there was no air conditioning! This was in the mid-80s before anyone guesses it was in the 70s π#catsofinstagram #catsculpture #singapore #cavenaghbridge
