The more ornate and detailed an emblem is, the more likely its bearer is considered high ranking and powerful. Those with the blurry/smudge tool shading indicate those who use magic.

Panis Cupcake and Piss Cakehole lack emblems as they abide by no rules, not even those other Freaks have set. Aside from occasionally trusting one another, it isnt uncommon at all for those two to fight when they’re bored.

Christian Brutal Sniper and Christian Pure Spy’s emblems share a border design to represent how despite Brutal’s refusal to admit it; they make a very good and effective team both on and off the battlefield. (and I lowk kinda ship it lol)

I chose the Black Rose for Pure specifically for.. a lot of reasons. Not only is it just a really cool piece of TF2 history, it’s one of the rarest TF2 items ever, no longer naturally obtainable. Christian Pure Spy’s role as a force of genuine benevolence and order makes him stand out against his peers a lot, so I found it fitting! bros probably one of the few Freaks consistently sane enough to have some kind of authority.

found the Knights Templar Cross way more befitting for CBS instead of the biohazard symbol, (that’s clearly Blightcaller’s thing smh) it makes sense with the yk, Christian. In Christian Brutal Sniper’s name. I’ve always seen him as this boastful vigilante monster-hunter type guy. Valliantly slaying other “evil” Freaks by being even more evil than them. that kind of character. Steals emblems from Mercs/Freaks he’s killed as trophies. (like Miss Fritter from Cars 3!)

I like to think that Trashmann was given an emblem sorta as negotiation by Pure, like “you can have this cool shiny thing as long as you don’t hurt me or my friends ok?” idk I thought it was funny lol
