You’re not entirely sure how you managed to run into your alternate, but after some looking around you conclude that you must have fallen asleep and entered a dream bubble. However, the fact that the bane of your timeline is still following you around everywhere does nothing but irk you.
You stare at the Furby before you for a moment and are tempted to try to burn it. However, you’re not sure if there’s anything flammable in this bubble and you definitely don’t want to turn your back on this abomination long enough to find out.
Finding out that it’s an alternate thing is probably what pisses you off the most. Who is this guy and has he never experienced the true horror these things bring? You glare at your alternate, unsure if you should even humor him with a verbal response.
Of course, Karkat wasn’t about to keep the Furby he had. He thought it was an idiotic robotic fuzzbeast and he wanted it out of his sight. And it gave him the worst feeling in his stomach. And, upon thinking about it, he felt it would be better to throw it at someone and let them deal with it.
What he didn’t expect, at least, when he threw it, was the fact he would have begun laughing upon realizing he had just thrown it at not just someone. But it was one of his alternates. He tried to hold back as much as he could. Yet, the smile kept tugging at his face, snickers pouring out with each and every attempt not to. But it wasn’t long before he busted into full on laughter, making him bend over and grip his stomach.
If this wasn’t the best day of Karkat’s life, he didn’t know what was.
