But I am so glad that you enjoy it! I partly leave them because I know that of course, and I want to give you something back for all that DRS has give me. At its core however, I have so much fun to analyze why media works. It's what has driven me to my History & German Studies degree, this obsession to connect the dots and see how phenomenons and ideas are communicated. A quote from Goethe's Faust describes it very well - "So that I may perceive whatever holds // The world together in its inmost folds" ("Dass ich erkenne, was die Welt // Im Innersten zusammenhält").

1. how would you describe your style

Hmm this is interesting actually, I don't think I've ever really thought about my style! I'd say it's mainly pretty illustrative I guess? I do tend to think of myself as illustrating things, in the sense I'm usually drawing scenes from stories and in the sense I guess in my mind it covers the sort of area I go for that has a certain amount of accuracy but isn't necessarily overly realistic? Like I like having lineart & and filling it in, I don't really have the urge to paint things, but at the same time it's not necessarily stylized in a cartoony way or anything

I like to think I can capture little interpersonal moments & their mood pretty well! vibes are everything

You're absolutely right, that one was on me.

I've literally JUST finished a worksheet I made for the people I tutored tomorrow. The thought of how much reading I'll have to do in the next two weeks just purees my brain. What do you mean I have to read 15 texts of varying lengths this week, the sun quits at 3 pm, why do I have to work?!
